Once the box is opened we find a usual presentation of these products with the mouse protected inside a plastic blister accompanied by the relevant documentation, a couple of stickers and the interchangeable modular panels that are one of the strengths of this mouse as We’ll see later.
The Razer Naga Trinity represents the brand’s idea of innovating in a field where there is already a lot of variety, so it is not easy to stand out.
This mouse is manufactured with a high quality black plastic body, it is the same material that most mice use, so in this sense there is nothing new, this is not a bad thing since it is a design that works very well I have reasons to change. The mouse has dimensions of 119 mm x 74 mm x 43 mm and a weight of approximately 120 grams without the cable, which should add about 10-15 grams.
Razer has opted for an asymmetrical design that is optimized for the right hand and accommodates a wide variety of grip styles and hand sizes. Whether you have a palm, claw or fingertip type of grip, the Razer Naga Trinity will offer you good comfort.
In the upper part we appreciate the two main buttons next to the wheel and two additional programmable buttons, these come as standard configured to change the DPI mode although we can assign them many other functions thanks to the Synapse 3.0 software as we will see later.
The two main buttons have mechanisms designed jointly by Razer and OMRON to achieve the best possible quality, these promise a durability of 50 million keystrokes so we have a mouse for years. As for the wheel, it is rubberized to improve grip and offers lateral movement.
On the left side we find the strongest point of this mouse, having many buttons in this area can be good in some situations and bad in others, depending on the game or software we are using. To solve this problem, a modular design that is based on three interchangeable side panels has been chosen, these are joined magnetically so it is extremely easy to put them on and take them off.
With this we have a panel with two buttons for situations that require great precision, and two panels with seven and twelve buttons for MOBA games and others in which we will need to have a large number of functions at our fingertips, never better said.
We move to the bottom and find the sensor, it is a PixArt PWM 3389 that is still a slightly customized version of the PWM 3360. This is the best sensor on the market with a sensitivity of 16,000 DPI, a sample rate of 450 IPS and an acceleration of 50 G, we will not find anything better in this regard. Also in this lower part there is a small button to switch between the different usage profiles stored in the internal memory of the mouse.
Razer Naga Trinity is compatible with Razer Synapse 3.0 software, a very powerful tool that will allow us to take full advantage of it in a really simple way. To download it, we just have to go to the official Razer website, its installation has no secret. We emphasize that we will need a Razer account to be able to use the application, if we do not have one we can create it at the moment.
Once the application is open, it asks us to update the firmware of the product, we just have to accept and let it work for a few seconds. At this point we have the application completely ready to use.
Once we open Razer Synapse 3.0 we see that this application has been completely renewed. First we see the section to configure the 19 programmable functions that this mouse offers us at most, we can configure each of the panels separately so that versatility is maximum.
The second section corresponds to the sensor configuration. As we can see, we can adjust the sensitivity of the X and Y axes independently and completely freely from 100 DPI to 16000 DPI. A high DPI value allows us to make a long journey with a very small mouse movement, so it will be especially suitable for multi-monitor configurations. On the contrary, low DPI values will be ideal in games that require great precision in movements. We can also configure the ultra-polling in 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz and 1000 Hz in addition to the acceleration.
We are facing a product with Chroma lighting so this section is one of the most extensive within the Razer Synapse application. We are offered the possibility of configuring the lighting in color, intensity and light effects to better adapt it to our tastes. We can configure each of the zones independently.

Razer Naga Trinity is a mouse that was born to differentiate itself and achieves it perfectly, its modular panels are a great added value that many users will appreciate, this means that in the same product we have a perfect mouse for games such as FPS, in those that require a lot of precision about the buttons to be pressed, and games in which we need a large number of buttons to assign all functions and abilities, for example MOBAs. Ergonomics is another aspect that has been taken care of perfectly in the Naga Trinity, its design has been thought to support the right hand perfectly and it is really very comfortable to use, the downside of this is that left-handed users will not be able to use this mouse or they will have great difficulty doing so.
